End Saver

Description

These T-shaped “End Savers” are the perfect way to stop you yarn unravelling, as well as remembering the details of it!

Sold in a set of ten, these T shaped wooden items are approx. 7cms wide and 9.7cms long. They have two notches in so that you can wrap the end of your yarn around it to keep it from unravelling. You can also write on your tag – I have written the yarn colour and code, lot type and yarn type on mine pictured in the listing. It fits well on both yarn balls as well as yarn cakes.

Whilst you can use a ball point pen to write neatly on these, you can also use a Pilot Frixion erasable pen to make them reusable! You can use the eraser on the end to rub out the ink, but we have found the best way to erase the ink is by using a hot iron (no steam) and lightly touching it to the End Saver for a second. The ink disappears, leaving just a very faint white mark where the ink was, meaning that the product can be reused multiple times.

Sourcing Birch Plywood has become increasingly challenging, which has meant that we have had to find an alternative supplier. We have been very fortunate that we have been able to source high quality Birch Plywood which meets our needs and high standards. The wood however is from a different area, which means that it is a darker/warmer colour than that pictured on our stock photos. Therefore, please be aware that the item that you receive may look slightly different in appearance to our stock photos, but please be reassured that this in no way impacts the product. Please see the last photo to see the comparison between our previously stocked wood and our new/currently stocked wood. You may receive either of these as we transition to the new wood, but if you buy a set of items (for example a set of month buttons), then we will ensure that these are cut from the same wood.
