Do you have yarn scraps to use up? Or fancy a simple craft project for either yourself, or to do with a child? These hearts are ideal – they have one slightly larger hole at the top centre so you can loop some yarn through to hang them, or you can leave this and keep it flat, maybe as a coaster? There are also really versatile, you can use a more structured pattern ( I dredged up memories of doing something similar when I was younger at school craft club!) or a more free style approach, like my 6 year old did.
These hearts measure 10cms high, and are laser cut out of 3mm thick birch plywood. They are supplied in a pack of two on their own. No yarn or accessories included, although we recommend using a blunt darning needle, and DK yarn. If you are completing one of these with a child, please ensure that they are directly supervised at all times.
Sourcing Birch Plywood has become increasingly challenging, which has meant that we have had to find an alternative supplier. We have been very fortunate that we have been able to source high quality Birch Plywood which meets our needs and high standards. The wood however is from a different area, which means that it is a darker/warmer colour than that pictured on our stock photos. Therefore, please be aware that the item that you receive may look slightly different in appearance to our stock photos, but please be reassured that this in no way impacts the product. Please see the last photo to see the comparison between our previously stocked wood and our new/currently stocked wood. You may receive either of these as we transition to the new wood, but if you buy a set of items (for example a set of month buttons), then we will ensure that these are cut from the same wood.
